Standard Benefits of Membership:

 

  • Reciprocal admission to more than 300 science museums nationwide. Click here to view participating museums. Please note—local restrictions apply. Science centers and museums located within 90 miles of each other are excluded from the program unless that exclusion is lifted by mutual agreement. NC Museum of Life and Science in Durham does not honor free admission for NSC members. Each institution has its own admissions policy, so call before you go to get the details.
  • Discounted or free admission at other AZA-accredited organizations, including the N.C. Zoo which offers a 50% discount on admission and a 10% gift shop discount to members of the Natural Science Center. Also, the North Carolina Aquariums (Roanoke Island, Pine Knoll Shores and Fort Fisher) offer FREE admission for Natural Science Center card-holding members - 2 adults and 2 children (under the age of 18). Each institution has its own admissions policy, so call before you go to get the details. The AZA reciprocal list is shown on the bottom of this page.
